Our centre environments have a huge impact on our students and our own sense of efficacy as education professionals. Little things like how we provide access to resources to how we transition between activities to how we touch base with our colleagues and students can make a big difference for our students and for centre staff. This workshop will focus on the little shifts you can make in your classrooms and centres as you design activities - whether inside or outside of the classroom - with empathy in mind.
Technology is an essential tool when designing with empathy so you will need a laptop or tablet (or a buddy with one!) in order to experience what this looks like first hand in this workshop.
